Ever since I was a little girl, I have had an obsession with bags. I love bags of all shapes and sizes. Because of my obsession with bags, I was always needing “stuff” to fill my bags. Although the content of my bags has changed over the years, it is still very likely I have a few strange objects always with me in my bag.
Home of the Money
Right now, I’m using a pretty basic, small wallet from Marc Jacobs. It’s a beige color, but what I love most about it is that it is so compact. I have gone back and forth between big and small wallets throughout the years, however since coming to college I have decided I prefer smaller wallets because they are easy to throw in both my backpack and purse, not requiring much space. If you’re interested in purchasing one of your own, Marc Jacobs has so many different options.
One of my latest obsessions is sunglasses. Sunglasses add personality to every outfit and therefore, I feel as if I need a pair for every outfit! Okay, not really, but kind of. I have shades for everyday wear and also ones that paired with the right outfit can be the final statement piece. I love Ray-Bans, and most often buy my sunglasses at Sunglass Hut due to their awesome customer service. If you were to dump out my bag, you’d most likely find at least two pairs of glasses on any given day. Right now, my two favorites are my gold, cat-eye, Ray-Bans and my basic black frame, black lens, Aviator, Ray-Bans. Check out Ray-Ban’s website to see all the different options of sunglasses to choose from.
Poppin’ Lip Gloss
Lip gloss or lipstick is something you will ALWAYS find in my bag! Although I am not much of a make-up gal, thank goodness, I have a little sister who is a make-up connoisseur. She lives and breathes all things make-up and luckily for me, she keeps me up-to-date with all the latest make-up fads. Right now, she has me hooked on Urban Decay’s Comfort Matte “Tampered” lipstick. Although I’m normally not into dark matte colors, this season you’re guaranteed to always find it in my bag! Check out all of Urban Decay’s options.
A Good Book
Okay, I’ll admit, this one is a little weird. However, I am always in and out of doctor appointments, waiting to pick-up a friend, or just have some spare time and it gives me something to do! I often find myself repeatedly scrolling through the same social media posts, so having an ACTUAL book is a nice change of pace. Currently, I continually find myself reading Christian Lifestyle books. Andy Stanley is a great author, if you’re interested in this topic!
Water bottles on water bottles
Once again, weird, I know, but hydration is a must. I tend to carry around half empty water bottles in my purse for a few days before I convince myself to actually throw them away. I don’t clean out my purse every day, so this is probably why I always have two or three in there. When my bag starts to get heavy, that’s when I know it’s time to throw some away.
My Beloved Fan
Honestly, this is one of the most important items in my bag. Living in Alabama, it doesn’t really get cold. Whether I’m walking from class, tailgating, or just hanging out outside, I almost always have my portable fan in tow. It’s honestly one of the greatest inventions. It’s small, pink (duh) and plugs into my phone to operate the monitor. Who wouldn’t love this?! Amazon has these fans for so cheap! Check them out!
You can never go wrong with having a little bottle of perfume in your purse. You never know when you may need a spritz. I typically throw one of the mini Victoria Secret Body Spray bottles in my purse. These are great because they are reasonably priced and small enough to fit into a small purse. This is the best deal! Four different scents for only $30, can’t beat that!
Among all the receipts, these are a few essentials you will always find in my bag! I can’t leave the house without them!
